13 trades today and a nice green but the day could have ended in disaster

Football.

Just the two matches on today. The champions league match was strange with the under 2.5 odds rising for the first part of the game. I have never seen that. I have seen odds that barely move for the first 10 mins but never rise steadily with no goals scored. The odds were still high at half time and I avoided it but I did get an after goal and several end of match trades done in. I had to scratch an after goal on the Norwegian match when I got in too low and the price levelled above me but I got 2 end of match trades in so not a complete loss.

Tennis.

Started with a Safina trade and lucked out on a market plunge giving me 6 ticks. I left her alone after that as she was doing her characteristic good\bad\good thing. I did a set betting Demetieva which I could have let run longer but decided to take the safe green.
I went on to the Azarenka v Williams match next just to have a look as I'm not a fan of Serena's on/off play this year. She was going well first set though and I did 2 match odds trades and then looked at the set betting. I got a good trade in on 2-0 as the first match closed out and when it looked like she was starting the second strongly I went back in at 1.23. She did not start as strongly as I'd hoped and he price went up to 1.3. I should have taken a small red to reduce my green and played it safe but I once again held on fingers crossed. Serena looked like she had completely lost her serve and was banging them into the net over and over and her price continued to rise. When she was broken and her 2-0 price rocketed I feared the worst and was looking at a massive red and was trying to convince myself to take it when Azarenka decided she wanted to be the crappiest player on the court and started playing awful. I think I saw her nearly smack herself in the face twice with her racket while spinning it in frustration after UE's. Serena broke back and I was saved, even getting a bit of green on that trade. It was poor trading though and I was lucky more than anything else. Unless I curb my greed and stop gambling like that I'll keep on repeating this pattern.

I don't know why Betfair are bothering to in-play a 2nd div brazilian game at 0100 tonite. Unless they have a big South American customer base. I won't be staying up for it. Only one match on tomorrow on the football unless more are added. In tomorrows tennis I will be interested to see how Fed handles the Karlovic serve. I don't think there will be as many trading opportunities as there was against Verdasco but we'll see. I think we will see Murray and Roddick being victorious as well but not without bumps in the road. Haas v Djoko?, will depend on how Djoko is playing.

Keep it green everybody.
