Did we all have a good Xmas then?.

17 markets over 15 matches. All green but there were some close calls. I traded out clear just before the 3rd goal on the Man U game but hadn't greened up so I had to take a smaller green at a higher price. This happened on a Belgian game as well. So it could have been a smaller green or even a small red but fortune smiled on me.

The run up to new year has a fair few matches and I hope it's a good end to the year.

A green weekend, woohoo!!.

25 markets over 23 matches. One red. I missed some of this afternoons matches as I had to go out. I didn't take the red straight away but hummed and ha'd over it for a while, so not a stunning display of discipline but I did take it in the end. I won't dwell on the fact that the match ended with no more goals.

I needed a good weekend to break the up down cycle that I've been in for the last 2 weeks. I hope it continues.

8 markets over the same number of matches, mostly end of match trades. I did not get any trading done on Wednesday night as I was out and Thursday and Friday I only just caught the tail end of the games due to late finishes.

So here come the weekend again and we'll see if I have learned anything. There will inevitably be a red at some point, the question will be can I look at the larger picture and take that red rather than risk my whole stake to avoid it.

Meant to do the blog post this morning but I forgot.

30 markets over 27 matches. Once again a lack of discipline let me down. I was doing well on Saturday when I got caught out during a trade and I foolishly let it ride. An injury time goal cost me my entire stake and once again I realize what a Muppet I was. When all was said and done if I had taken the red I would have ended the day well into the green instead of finishing with a red. I did manage to red out on a match on Sunday when a goal came during a trade so maybe I am learning painfully slowly.

Not an insurmountable loss though. At least I am sticking to my staking plan.

21 matches traded this week. Took a loss on 1 match and fortunately took the red as there was a 96th minute goal that would have cost me. Missed out on a green on the German match tonight when I completed my trade but forgot to hedge the green and 2 late goals left me with nothing, but no red.

Not what I had hoped for. I desposited £40 on Friday and the rollercoaster began again.

43 markets, 3 losses, one a big one. I lost discipline on the Valenciennes v Monaco backed under 3.5 when it was 1-1, a goal came at 85 mins and I foolishly let it ride. I was extremely miffed when injury time went on just long enough for a 4th goal and then the ref called it. I was able to take my red on the two other matches and if I had taken my red on the third I would have been posting a £5+ green. Lessons must be learnt.

Ridiculous display of chasing and bad discipline to start December.

Monday was okay with 7 markets over 6 matches. Today I took a loss on the Sampdoria v Livorno match when the second goal caught me. I took the red and tried to put it out of my mind but I then for some reason went full bank on under 2.5 in the Sedan v Nantes match with it 1-0 at 81 mins. When 2-0 came at 83 mins I did exactly the wrong thing and let it ride , loathe to take another red for some reason. Piss poor gambling behaviour and I paid for it at 90 mins when it went 3-0.

So Busto!!... Again!!.

I will be having a couple of days off and will try to remind myself of what I know is the correct way to go. Start again on Friday with £10.
