I'm beginning to hate Wimbledon.

Football.

3 trades on the Norwegian match. On one I got out just before the goal. Hmmm.

Tennis.

Piss poor start to the day. I was looking forward to the Fed v Karlovic match. I had no illusions about Karlovic winning but I thought his serve would trouble Fed enough to give me some trading opportunities. I hadn't counted on Karlovic playing as poorly as he did. After the first 2 games I layed Fed at 1.11 with Karlovic coming up to serve. I thought I could get a tick on Fed's price during the karlovic serve and by laying I could get much higher tick value. Of course Karlovic breaks. I know from the camera angle and such that the ball can appear to be moving slower than it is and distances can look closer but it appeared that Karlovic was not really trying to get some of the Fed reutrns. Fed's price dropped to 1.04/1.05 and stayed there for the rest of the set. I had hoped to see a good set in the second which could see me red out for less and so I held on to it, foolishly. Alas it went downhill. Karlovic seemed to have trouble with his first serve and was moving in to the net a lot and so Fed was returning the ball straight past him. Eventually I redded out for a 10 tick loss, £8.61, which was a bank destroyer. I know bankroll management and all that. I did my sums and reloaded £6 in to my account. I then backed Fed 3-0 in the final set which came good giving me £0.99. I watched the Murray match to the final set and backed him 3-0 which gave me £2.18. A bit reckless but I was in a mood. I will withdraw the extra cash in a few days but for now I'll use it to boost my bank. I will have to be careful.

So Safina and Dementieva both face a Williams tomorrow. I have no idea who will go on to the Final and I won't be trading unless I see a clear and safe opportunity, if there is one. A bit more football on tomorrow as well. Supposed to be as hot as hell again. IT'S BRITIAN, TURN DOWN THE HEAT DAMMIT!!. I'll be glad to see the back of Wimbledon, it's been a nightmare. Due to my lack of Discipline I know but I'll still be glad when it's over.
