Waheey.
Football.
Only two matches and I managed three trades on them. Bog standard stuff.
Tennis.
Started off with a nice 2 tick on the Fed set betting. I then was watching the Azarenka match and spotted the market fluctuating up and down during her serve after she took a crucial game. I decided to get in and out for 2 ticks and a plunge gave me 11 ticks .Woohoo. I then went on to the Karlovic v Verdasco match to see what I could do with the big mans serve. I never traded Karlovic before but today I did 12 trades on him. I think at one point the stats were 31 aces for karlovic. I had a green of 1.26 on him by the 10th trade in the final set and I had said that if it went to the inevitable tie break I would not trade him as one missed point would be crucial, but when he took a point from Verdasco I stupidly went in on him. Verdasco took a point back and I had to red out slashing my green almost in half. Bugger!!, I should know better. This did not stop me from going back in again on Karlovic when he took another point off Verdasco and of course Verdasco took it back again. At this point I'm looking at all my green gone and into red, not a huge amount but still red. I could not bring myself to red out. i foolishly held on and as luck would have it Karlovic won the match and I got my green back. Still a stupid thing to do. I knew I should never have gone anywhere near the tie break and will have to watch that in future.
What a farce at wimbledon today with the roof. The roof in principle is a good idea. It rains in here in the UK often and it has needed a roof. As usual though we Brits found a way to make it awkward and farcical. The roof should only be used for rain that would damage the court and stop play for an hour or longer. Closing it for a 10 min shower and halting play for the length of time they did?. I'm no expert but I'm sure that other countries roof optional courts do not require a 30 min wait to restart play and don't take 10 mins to close. It also seemed like they were holding up play on the other courts so that they did not begin before there fantastic roofed centre court. It seemed very much like a case of them wanting to use thier expensive shiny new toy and not be shown up. I'm sure everyone everywhere was laughing. The roof has it's place but I don't think it was today. The lights on it are certainly useful in this night match between Murray and Wawrinka which is still dragging on as I type.
An all chick day at Wimbledon tomorrow. Not sure how that will go for me. 2 football matches again tomorrow.
Keep it green everybody.
