A welcome green week after foolish reds.

A busy week in other areas. Hit back at the flab hard this week. Daily activity on my Xtrainer in addition to my usual cycling. Weather was a bit hot for my liking, even hotter next week unfortunately.

45 markets. 5 reds totalling £33.82. One of these taken intentionally as I could see it might be a problem. The rest were just unfortunate. I started the weekend well and made a bit of green but then it went sour and I was battling all weekend.

5 markets. No reds. Quiet weekend with only small tournaments.

Not a good weekend coming hot on the heels of last week. Nothing for it but to plod onward.

42 markets. 3 reds totalling £80.80. I could have avoided 2 of these reds and were brought about mainly due to impatience and not paying attention.

12 markets. 1 red of £50.00. A misclick saw me double stake and then the market chose just that point to run away from me. I did a pointless cross fingers and hope, which as usual didn't come to anything, rather than take the red and it cost me dearly. AGAIN!.

There are times I think I'm incapable of learning. My bank has been laid very low by this weeks reds. Back to grinding out small profits.

I'm like a self fulfilling prophecy or something.

27 markets. 2 reds totalling £93.92. The first was totally avoidable, too early and too big a stake. The second was standard and wouldn't have stung so much if it wasn't for the other reds.

Tennis.

7 markets. 1 red of £24.73. A classic WTA flip flop which I became caught up in out of my own greed and stupidity.

It's easy to sit here now and think about the fact that I wouldn't have come in red if I had not taken avoidable losses but somehow at the time I don't seem able to see it.

The week has been harsh to me in other areas. My Galaxy S took a 1 foot drop onto the floor from the sofa and knackered the screen. I had to order another one express delivery, which thankfully arrived this morning. You have to order the whole unit. Glass,display, and digitizer for £88. It's a little worrying how bereft I felt without my phone. It's my books, my music, my web on the go. I will be fitting it after this post. Lots of glue and the use of a scalpel blade imminent according to the web guides. This unfortunate outlay has pushed back plans for my new monitor. I have decided it isn't cost effective to repair my knackered 32" lcd tv and I'm going to get a 22" full HD monitor, my 32" was only 720p. I'll be stuck with the old 15" crt for now and my laptop.

26 markets. No reds again. I'm very happy with that. I find these friendly matches a little frustrating. They have little to no liquidity.

Tennis.

5 markets. No reds. Despite making green on the Tennis I'm not happy about some of the trades I made and the matches I got involved in. There was far too much risk. I really need to leave the Tennis alone.

Bank is just shy of 3 figures now. I'm pleased with progress but become fearful of impending red. I must try not to let it get to me and stay patient.

So a decent first day back in the saddle. No crazy gambling. I kept it fairly safe. I hope I can continue in a similar vein. It's been a little odd not being on Betfair over the past week. I find myself going to log in automatically without realising. ADDICTION!!, lol.

An earlier than usual weekend report 'cause I'm BUSTO!!. AGAIN!!!

Tennis.

3 markets. 2 reds totalling £142.77. A small green on Kvitova early on in the Saturday final. I wasn't willing to risk it any further. If only I'd had that attitude in the Men's final. Long and short of it, A pre match back of Nadal ended in a red after the first break and then a big chase on Djoko 3-0 at the end of the second set lost me the rest after Djoko turned to crap. Again I've been a total idiot and gone chasing reds when I should just be patient and disciplined.

So no Betfair for me for the next 5 days or so as I cannot afford to redeposit anything. This is probably a good thing as I'm in no state to be sensible and disciplined. As I sit here I'm enduring the scum upstairs stomping back and forward endlessly and the scum in the next block playing loud music. No peace anywhere. I'm at my wits end.

So 5 days off and then hopefully when I come back I'll be in a better frame of mind.

17 markets. No reds. A quiet week on the football as most of my time has been spent on Wimbledon.

16 markets. 2 reds totalling £162.24. A big red on Woz to start the week. A bit of chasing later and I'm back to green only for Nadal to throw away the third set against Fish giving me another big red. Back to green by the end of the week though. What a mess. I must steer clear of set betting.

The finals of Wimbledon are upon us. Sharapova is the fav, Really!. She looked dire at the beginning of her semi. Even when she got a bit better the DF's were a bit much. I have no idea who will take the men's final. I will be watching though.
