Not too shabby!.

Football.

Not a lot on with only 3 Brazilian matches in the evening. I did manage an after goal biggie and 2 end of match trades to give me a decent amount. I 'm keeping an eye on the 0030 US game as I type this but I'm debating whether to stay up for this. I may only give it till half-time. There is a Japanese match on at 0800 (7 hours from now) which I'll likely trade if it's good. J-league is either dead or a goal fest, I never can tell.

Tennis.

First up was Jankovic v Oudin. I was a bit foolish as I was struggling to find an in, with the back and forth during the 1st set tie break. When Jankovic took the point just before her serve to make it 9-8 I spotted her price going up and down by 5 ticks and decided to try and get in and out for 2 before she served. I really didn't have the time for it and it could have backfired. I got backed and had the lay counting down when she served and took the point. Betrader kind of froze, as it does when a massive amount of orders goes in at a point like that, and when it came back my lay had been matched 6 ticks lower than I had asked for giving me 8 ticks in all. Jankovic then had her moment of illness. At one point she's is on the deck feet in the air having her blood pressure taken and her price goes from 1.13 to 1.8ish. The forums are abuzz with talk of retirement and faking and the usual guff. Then as it looked like she was going to play on her price began to come down and I got in and out for a tick. Risky again I know. When she broke in the first game of the set Oudin price went down to 1.3 and I got in and out on Oudin for 2 ticks when she was holding her serve in the second game. I was again quite lucky as I got my 1.28 lay only because of a big back that came in and took the money down to that point before the market snapped back up to above 1.3, Thank you whoever you are. Jankovic Held her next serve and broke Oudin in the next to make it 2-2 and at by this point the odds had completely reversed themselves and Jankovic was at 1.3. While I made green from this match It could have easily been big red If i'd been caught out and I should have left such an unpredictable match alone.
I moved on to the Berdych match and made a 2 tick red when something went wrong , I'm struggling to remember the exact details. I had seen his price rise by 14 ticks after I backed and I debated taking the loss but I waited for the price to drop lower before taking the loss. Of course as soon as I did the price came down through my initial entry and exit points and again I'm left feeling like I jumped to soon which can be dangerous because it leads you to hold on to loosing trades in future. I did get back in for a tick to reduce my loss and then I left it alone.
A quick 2 tick trade on Murray set betting was the finale of the tennis day for me. From what I saw he was giving Troicki a bit of a thrashing.


No tennis tomorrow but a good bit more football on.I may have a look at the horse race markets for a laugh. I actually got out of the house today for the first time since Monday, just a trip to the shops but it was good to get outside. I hope this humidity breaks soon, I really dislike it.
