39 markets. No reds again. I did have a couple of close calls though so I mustn't become too complacent.
I had to make another withdrawal so my account is at a low ebb again. The small stakes will continue for a bit.
My abstinence from tennis paid off yet again as The Nadal v Fish match is precisely the kind of match I would have lost money on. I'd have probably backed Nadal after he won the first set 6-2, then hung on for grim life through his loss of the 2nd, panic redded out when he went behind in the third and his price went out beyond 3.5, only to see him scrape victory in the end. Too much drama for me. Steer well clear.

Im not a tennis trader, but why on earth would you back Nadal after he wins the first set?

What would the odds be 1.1 / 1.2??
Surely it would of been better to grab his odds at 3.5 and trade out as he pulled it together?

Your probably right which is why I should steer clear of tennis.
ReplyDeleteBacking the so-called superior player at high odds in hope that they pull it back may be the value move but it's never sat well with me.
I have on occassion tried laying the low odds leader but not had much success.
yea tennis ain't easy, im steering clear myself!
