Happy new year everybody.

Football.

26 markets. Yet again no reds. I dodged late goals in 2 matches to make it all green again. A brilliant start to the new year. I do sometimes worry though that all this green will lead to a big downfall later on.

This weekend took me well over my withdrawal target and I withdrew £400 from my bank. This will be a much needed cash injection for all the plans I have for my home improvements. There are other things on which I would like to spend the vast sums of money , that I'm shelling out at the moment, however this is unfortunately a necessity. While I hate to see my bank decreased at least this time it's not due to foolish losses.

The festive period is over, bring on the pain. All remaining booze and munch has been safely stowed away in a rarely opened cupboard and the fridge is stocked with healthy eats. I will be climbing back on the xtrainer in the morning to begin my week long detox before a dreaded weigh in on Friday. I have gained a disgusting amount of weight I'm sure. No alcohol or junk food will pass my lips until I have reached my 90kg target. It won't be so bad as I do this for 8 weeks at the start of every year anyway. This time it will last a little longer. Already my resolve is being tested as friends have invited me out for lunch tomorrow. I must be strong.
